NCC/Scout & Guides

NCC boys started in Kendriya Vidyalaya Portblair No1 in the year 10th August 2022. 25 new cadets and total 50 cadets are enrolled per year. NCC Army unit are run by NCC(HQ). NCC cadets are participated in Independance day and Republic day parade.
The Bharat Scouts & Guides is a voluntary, non-political educational Movement for young people. The purpose of the Movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of the local, National and International communities.

In BS&G movement students enter as:

Cub/ Bulbul
Age : 5+ to 10yrs
Motto: Do Your Best

Scout/Guide
Age : 10+ to 17yrs
Motto: Be Prepared
